117059 2024-03-18 In Person Visit Counseling On March 18, 2024, Ms. Cynthia Cox from Rolling Hills called and visited the office for assistance. Ms. Cox stated she has two more days to wait on her SNAP benefits. While waiting doesn't have enough food to feed her family. I gathered some food items for her. I discussed with Ms. Cox future plans in caring for her family. Ms. Cox hasn't committed to a job right now due to the care her son need. Ms. Cox stated she plans to get active in community and attend events. Ms. Cox had no further concerns at this time. My plan is to follow-up with Ms. Cox to encourage her to make steps toward planning to become financially stable.

Ms. Cox reported difficulty trying to make ends meet to care for her family. Ms. Cox stated she is currently unemployed. She receives government assistance which has not been consistent. Ms. Cox stated her children attend school regularly with the help of their father. Ms. Cox states she doesn't have transportation, and this interferes with her daily routine. Her children father and her do always get along and her family support is not consistent. I advise Ms. Cox of ways to get started with workforce development and offered NCC opportunities. I plan to follow-up with Ms. Cox, to get her involve I invited her to NCC Sharing with the community on 3/11/24. I also advised her of a upcoming women's bible study on 3/14/24. Ms. cox stated she will keep in touch and make arrangements to attend the events.
